Incan Shaman |
Clay whistle used by shamans within the Incan culture,
and very little has appeared in print or academic field journals on their uses. These small clay whistles were sometimes hung
around the neck, and their sound was an accelerant to intensify the experience or ritual. Acted as a thread, or bridge to
the spiritual plane. Announced the time when the shaman would 'see'. The sound would carry the listener to a circular space
with a spiraling ascending nature.
